Direct Participatory Experiences: Structured learning involving active participation, including seminars, workshops, conferences, lectures, graduate-level courses taught at a Master's level or higher, and interactive webinars with measurable learning outcomes. Minimum 15 CEUs required.

Teaching / Lecturing: Preparation and delivery of professional education such as courses, seminars, or workshops. Preparation time may be claimed at a ratio of 1 hour instruction to 1.5 hours preparation. A course may be claimed once per CEU period.

Independent & Online Study: Self-directed learning such as online courses, webinars, academic reading, and professional books from qualified sources. Books may be claimed at one CEU per book with a brief reflection or summary of learning.

Peer Consultation / Supervision: Individual or group consultation focused on clinical reflection, ethical decision-making, and professional development through reflective discussion of clinical work.

Supervising (Certified Supervisors Only): Supervision provided by Certified Professional Counsellor Supervisors. Supervisors must provide a minimum of ten hours of supervision per year to maintain supervisor status.

Personal Counselling / Spiritual Direction: One-to-one counselling or spiritual direction for personal and professional growth. Maximum 10 CEUs per period.

CEU Carryforward: Up to fifteen CEUs from the previous reporting period may be applied toward the current requirement.
